Seamount College RIDING SCHOOLS COMPETITION This is a show jumping event, whereby a number of riding schools compete against each other in a fun competition. The team is to consist of four riders between the ages of 8 and 16yrs on suitably mounted horses/ponies of any height, grade etc. This year, due to popular demand, we are running two team events, an open at 80cm and a novice at 70cm to encourage children and perhaps introduce new riders to competition. A riding school may enter one or more teams to jump for their centre, but, a child can only compete once at one height category. Following the open team event, we are holding an individual class at 80 cm / 85 cm. These entries will be taken on the day time permitting. After the novice team competition an individual class at 70cm/ 75cm. Closing date for entries is Friday 15th January 2010.
